What Hypertax costs
Hypertax charges once per return, at the point you download the finished PDF. The three tiers and what each one adds are listed here in full.

Answering the questions, uploading your slip and looking at the finished return on screen cost nothing. Downloading the return you actually mail costs CA$39 to CA$105, once, per return. Nobody downloads a finished return without paying.
The three tiers
| Tier | Price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Simple | CA$39 | One T1 General from a single T4, with the basic personal amount |
| Deluxe | CA$65 | Credits and deductions, the provincial form 428 and CPP2 |
| Premium | CA$105 | A second AI pass over the finished return, and a reply from a person within one working day |
One payment per return
There is no subscription and no monthly charge. You pay for the return you download. Two returns, whether for two years or for two people, are two payments.
What the price does not include
- Postage and printing. A Hypertax return is posted, not transmitted.
- Any return for a year other than 2026.
Choosing a tier
Start at Simple. If your answers need something Simple does not cover, Hypertax tells you which tier covers it before you pay, and charges the higher price only once.
