The three steps of a Hypertax return
Answer the questions, upload your slip, then review and print. Each step saves as you go, so you can stop and come back on another device.

Every Hypertax return runs through the same three steps. You can stop at any point. Your answers are saved as you type them, and you pick up where you left off when you sign back in.
Step 1: answer the questions
One question per screen, in plain words. Hypertax asks where you lived on 31 December 2026, whether you are married, and whether anyone depends on you. Your answers decide which parts of the form open up.
Step 2: add your slip
Upload a photo or a PDF of your T4. Hypertax reads the boxes and shows you what it found, box by box, next to your own copy. You confirm or correct every figure. You can also type the boxes in by hand and skip the upload entirely.
Step 3: review and print
Hypertax shows the finished return line by line, with the rule behind each number. When you are satisfied, you pay for the download and get the PDF. Then you print, sign and post it.
Nothing is filed until you post it
The return is not with the CRA when the PDF appears on your screen. It is with the CRA when the envelope arrives. Give the post time before the deadline.
